The installation for the prestigious Bodegas González Byass, in Jerez de la Frontera, will prevent 87.5 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year.
Together with Smart Solar, Iberdrola, Alterna Energía has been responsible for the design and construction of the photovoltaic self-consumption project.
Alterna Energía, a company specialising in the development of comprehensive self-consumption photovoltaic solutions for businesses, has been selected by Iberdrola to commission a photovoltaic installation for Bodegas Las Copas (González Byass), one of Spain’s most prestigious and popular companies, exporting its products to 115 countries. With this project, the renowned Tío Pepe wineries are committing to sustainability by installing 357.63 kW of photovoltaic capacity on the roof and land at their facilities in Jerez de la Frontera.
Together with Smart Solar, Iberdrola, Alterna Energía has been responsible for the design and construction of the photovoltaic self-consumption project, which will produce 625 MWh each year and prevent 87.5 tonnes of CO2 emissions.
