Alterna Energía, a company specializing in the development of comprehensive solutions for self-consumption photovoltaic installations for companies, has been chosen by Iberdrola for the start-up of a photovoltaic installation for the Bodegas Las Copas (González Byass), one of the Spanish companies with the largest prestige and popularity that exports its products to 115 countries.
With this project, the renowned Tío Pepe wineries are committed to sustainability by installing 357.63 kW photovoltaics on the roof and ground of their facilities in Jerez de la Frontera.
Together with Smart Solar, Iberdrola, Alterna Energía has been in charge of the design and construction of the photovoltaic self-consumption project, with which they will produce 625 MWh each year and will avoid 87.5 tons of CO2 emissions.
